Two of Sue’s paintings have been accepted by the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA for inclusion in their 13th International Exhibition of Botanical Art to be held in 2010.

Sue will be exhibiting original botanical watercolour paintings at the forthcoming exhibition 'The Art of Botanical illustration 2008' held by The Friends of Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, Domain House, Dallas Brooks Drive, Melbourne. Open daily 10am-5pm from 8th – 23rd November.

Sue has returned from a successful trip to the UK where her latest works were exhibited with other international artists from the UK, Canada, USA, Italy, Japan & Australia.

September 2008

A new series “Eight Terrestrial Orchids of Victoria” were displayed in the Botanical Images Scotia Exhibition at Gardening Scotland in Edinburgh. Sue was awarded a Silver-Gilt Medal, the highest awarded artist.

Following on in June, Sue was awarded a Silver-Gilt Medal for a series “Twelve Fungi of South-western Victoria” at The Royal Horticultural Society’s Botanical Art Exhibition. This was held at BBC Gardener’s World Live in the National Exhibition Centre at Birmingham.
